Inclusive Dance Classes
Our first session has concluded, but we hope to start another one soon! Please contact us if you are interested in this class.
This class is designed for children with special needs, including autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and developmental delays. The class will focus on providing a fun and safe environment for children to express themselves through movement. We will use a variety of dance styles, including ballet and jazz, to help children develop their motor skills, coordination, and creativity. We will also focus on social skills and emotional development. The class will be led by experienced and qualified dance teachers who are familiar with working with children with special needs.
Benefits of Dance for Children with Special Needs
Dance can provide many benefits for children with special needs, including:
Improved motor skills: Dance can help children develop their gross motor skills (such as walking, running, and jumping) and fine motor skills (such as hand-eye coordination).
Improved coordination: Dance can help children develop their balance, rhythm, and spatial awareness.
Improved creativity: Dance can help children express themselves creatively and develop their imagination.
Improved social skills: Dance can help children learn how to interact with others in a positive way.
Improved self-esteem: Dance can help children feel good about themselves and their abilities.
What to Expect in Class

Warm-up exercises: We will start each class with a warm-up exercise to get our bodies moving.
Dance routines: We will learn simple dance routines that will help us develop our coordination and rhythm.
Creative movement: We will have time to explore our own creativity through movement.
Social activities: We will have time to interact with each other and build friendships.
Relaxation activities: We will end each class with a relaxation activity to help us calm down and de-stress.
